I invite you to join me on this journey toward a more balanced, embodied, and joyful life.


I am a certified Integrative Somatic Practitioner through the Integrative Wellness Academy and am currently advancing toward my Master Integrative Somatic Practitioner certification. 


I offer both private and group somatic sessions, as well as integrative life coaching to support your health and well-being.

How Somatics Helped Me

Somatic practices found me during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and searching for something - anything - that could help me feel better. I began exploring simple, intuitive movements at home, and with each practice I felt a little calmer, more grounded, and more like myself again.


These movements were unlike anything I had experienced through traditional yoga, and my curiosity quickly grew into a passion. I pursued advanced training to better understand the science behind somatic practices and their profound effect on the nervous system.


Today, I'm honored to share Somatic Flow at Wild Oak Wellness. What began as my own healing journey has become one of the greatest joys of my work. Whether you're feeling stressed, disconnected, living with pain, or simply looking for a different way to care for yourself, I invite you to experience the gentle power of somatic movement and discover what it can offer you.

What is Somatization?

When your nervous system feels safe, everything begins to soften. Your mind becomes more clear, your body feels more at ease, and life no longer feels like something you have to push through. 


This is where healing begins.


Our bodies hold the stories of our lives. Stress, grief, joy, and resilience all leave their imprint. Sometimes those experiences show up as tension, pain, shallow breathing, or a feeling of being disconnected from ourselves.


Through intentional movement, breath, and mindful awareness, somatic practices help you listen to what your body has been trying to tell you. 


As your nervous system finds greater balance, you create space for more ease, resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself.

Somatic Yoga RX - Saturday's 9:15 - 10:30am


Somatic Yoga Rx is your prescription for presence and deep reset. Taught by Dorene for almost two decades, this signature class blends somatic practices, breath-centered movement, and anatomy informed sequencing to support nervous system regulation and release stored tension.

 

Rooted in both clinical insight and embodied experience, you’ll be guided through mindful, body-led movement and breathwork that help you slow down, tune in, and reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit in a way that feels safe and sustainable.


Somatic Flow- Sunday's 9:00 - 10:15am and Monday's 5:30 - 6:30pm


This is NOT your typical yoga class!


This dynamic, somatic-based practice blends spiraling, wave-like movement, yoga kriyas, and breathwork to help release tension, regulate your nervous system, and move stuck energy out of your body.


Expect continuous, strength-based flow with moments of powerful, guided breathwork to build heat, shift energy, and deepen your connection within, followed by grounding integration to help it all land.


Rooted in trauma-informed principles, you’ll be guided to move in a way that feels safe, intuitive, and deeply supportive.

You’ll leave feeling open, energized, and more like yourself.
