I am grateful to lead yoga and other wellness-related activities in Fairfield and Suisun Valley for 15 years.

Though the sites may change, the community we create does not.

believe nothing
no matter where you read it
or who has said it
unless it agrees with your own reason
and your own common sense

Yoga is for EVERY BODY We just have to find what is right for YOUR BODY

It is my belief that health of the mind and of the body are directly related, and therefore, happiness is an integral part of one's own health. Yoga is unique in its ability to promote this balance.

I am fully committed in unifying traditional western methods of healing with more natural interventions. The body is designed to heal itself, I would like to show you how you can support that process.

I have a Master's Degree in Nursing Education from UCSF and am also an advanced-trained yoga instructor certified by YogaWorks and Yoga Tree in the California Bay Area. I currently run a wellness program in wine country Suisun Valley.

It's safe to say that I devote all of my time to health and wellness!  Please follow me on this journey to wellness.

anatomy, biomechanics, health & wellness

I have been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. I worked in ER's, ICU's and tiny airplanes transporting critically ill patients. I suppose you might say I was an adrenaline junkie. A few close calls in-flight led me to consider other options.  I chose to go back to school.

I completed my Masters Degree in Nursing Education at UCSF. I taught many nursing courses including anatomy and physiology at Napa Valley College for their nursing program.

During that time, I also dove deeper into my personal yoga practice and decided to become a yoga teacher. Eventually, I completed my 500 hour advanced yoga training through Yoga Tree in San Francisco with a focus on anatomy and alignment.

Pete Guinosso, a prominent mentor in my training, asked me to teach anatomy as part of his 200 hour training. He is an incredible teacher and I was grateful for the opportunity.

As I began to create my yoga anatomy curriculum, I realized that almost all of my resources focused on what NOT to do in a yoga practice. As my questions got bigger, I was forced to dig deeper.

I finally came to the realization that the natural intelligence of the body is smarter than all of those resources. My goal was to guide people to MOVE in ways that felt good and were sustainable long-term. My mantra became movement is medicine.

Yoga has greatly improved my life. Let me help you improve yours.
